Selection guidelines for 384-hole inspection microplate

Corning provides a series of 384 microporous plates for high throughput detection and storage. Classification by use may be as follows:

a.384 hole detection microporous plate

- Routine detection - non-processing, NBS™, highly bonded and UV microporous plates

- Cytological examination - tissue culture treatment, Corning®CellBIND® surface, poly - D- lysine coated polystyrene microporous plates

b.384 porous polypropylene storage microporous plate

this selection guide does not include a 384 pore microporous plate suitable for PCR and genomics, please refer to the Corning genomics product selection guide.

Corning 384 microporous plates include tissue culture treatments, Corning®CellBIND® surfaces and poly- D- lysine coated microporous plates. The surface treatment of the microporous plate treated by tissue culture, like Corning other cell culture utensils, can improve the adsorption efficiency of the cells which are not easy to adsorb. A new Corning®CellBIND® surface treatment can improve homogeneity and make cell adsorption more uniform.
